Ettington Primary School
The local village school wanted a mosaic to welcome visitors to the school and a competition was run for the best design.
The winning design was then created in school using the indirect method, where tiles are stuck upside down onto brown paper using wall paper paste.
The design used whole tiles which meant that all the children were able to take part in creating it. The finished mosaic now hangs outside the school by the main entrance.
I was subsequently asked back to the school to work on a larger mosaic which now hangs inside the schools main reception area.
